We reviewed the attic ventilation and set the right balance of intake and outlet vents so the new roof could breathe. From there, we installed dedicated starter shingles around the perimeter, the IKO Cambridge architectural shingles from the ASR-150 system, and matching hip and ridge caps, all fastened with the manufacturer's recommended nailing pattern. The tired plastic vent covers and old pipe boots came off and were replaced with new ones, so nothing original could fail under the new shingles.

Not a Nail Left in the Yard

Before a single shingle came down, we tarped and netted the landscaping, the beds, and the area around the pool to catch falling debris. Everything we pulled off the roof was hauled away the same day.
